Emme Rovins (b. 1997, Southern New Jersey) is a multi-disciplinary artist currently based in Maine. Rovins received her BFA in Photography from Lesley Art + Design, has exhibited in both solo and group exhibitions in New England, and has been included in publications from "Quiet Pages Press", "From Here on Out", and "Fifth Wheel Press". Her artistic practice analyzes historical botanical taxonomy alongside lesbian historiographies in order to investigate the slippages of language within the human desire to understand, define, and categorize.
